AOP for Surface Water

Peer-reviewed article in Journal of Advanced Oxidation Technologies

Ongoing work is being conducted to facilitate the implementation of MIOX’s on-site AOP for a variety of water treatment applications.  Some of the results can be read in the peer-reviewed article published in the Journal of Advanced Oxidation Technologies

In 2009, MIOX received a Phase I Small Business Initiative Research (SBIR) award to investigate chlorine-based UV oxidative processes for the removal of contaminants in water.  Upon successful completion of Phase I, our science team was awarded Phase II in 2011.  Most recently, MIOX was granted additional SBIR funding to broaded commercial applications of on-site generated AOP.
