The Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), located in Oahu, Hawaii, now utilizes four MIOX Vault H100 Self-Cleaning systems for wastewater reuse treatment. The project was collaborated with MIOX exclusive partner, Parkson. The 26 million gallons/day facility relies on MaximOS and other technologies to facilitate irrigation by the municipal government and supply process water for a power plants and oil refinery water.
The City and County of Honolulu owns and operates the Honouliuli WWTP, which is the regional wastewater treatment facility for the ‘Ewa district. The plant is located east of the former Naval Air Station Barbers Point and processes approximately 26 million gallons per day (mgd).
